Jane Woodliff, Class of 1992

In answer to your request:

I received my MHR degree in 1992. The time I spent working on this degree was some of the most enjoyable time of learning. The professors was excellent, the material was timely, and the pace was not stressful for someone with a full-time job. At the time, I was teaching family and consumer science and the courses I took were all relevant to my teaching field.

When I retired from teaching in 1997, I spent 2 ½ years working part-time as a counselor in the “First Offender” program which served juveniles.

Then I taught introductory to Sociology for Eastern OK. State College for about 2 years. I resigned from this position to take care of my elderly mother and have not worked since 2002.

After I retired from teaching I also served for 10 years as a CASA.

At present I am completely retired, in reasonably good health and enjoying life.
