The monthly SSHR meeting is "How to Put Your Human Relations Degree to Work." We are pleased that Kristin Trammell & Randi Brockhaus have agreed to share their insights since they both have graduated with their HR masters degrees. The meeting is Thursday, 10.15.15, 4:30-5:30 pm in the Human Relations Conference Room.
On November 9 at 4:30- 6 in Dale Hall 125 Dr. Katie Barwick Snell is having a Career Panel with about 8 former HR Undergraduates and Masters graduates talking about how they marketed their HR degrees to get jobs that they can call a career. They include JP Audas, Jabar Shumate, D’Andre Fisher, Jennifer Mayes, Randi Brockhaus, Brynn Daves, Rachel Soult and others.
I am also pleased that the HR Department was able to hire a full time undergraduate advisor. Zach Kampf was recently chosen and he will have an office on 8th floor and will be helping me, Dr. Katie Barwick-Snell – Faculty advisor, with undergrad advising this semester and then will be your fulltime staff advisor here every weekday. Many of you know him so come by and make him feel welcome!
