Blair Rawlins LPC LADC
I entered the MHR graduate degree as an adult in my 50’s. The hands-on curriculum appealed to me and the class schedule accommodated my full-time job. The fact the faculty was hand-picked for this program was obvious from the beginning. We didn’t just DISCUSS group therapy. We DID group therapy. As a result of my degree, I have worked for 25 years in inpatient and outpatient care with adults and adolescents. I currently have a private practice. If you have done the math, you no doubt realize I am now 81. This proves several things. First, it’s never too late to follow your dream. Second, my MHR has severed me well. And third, you may maintain a career in mental health as long as you have a passion for it.
